About Oz Studios
Welcome to Oz Studios, a cozy handmade workshop nestled in the heart of Newtown, Connecticut. What began over 10 years ago as a personal passion for Jen—driven by her sensitive skin and a desire to avoid artificial fragrances—has blossomed into a vibrant creative space where people can slow down, breathe deeply, and make something beautiful with their hands.
At Oz, we believe in keeping things pure and intentional. All of our candles are made exclusively with 100% soy wax and beeswax, and we scent everything with organic essential oils whenever possible—and only pure essential oils when organic isn't available. No artificial fragrances, ever.
Our studio offers a variety of hands-on classes, from candle making and candle painting to bath bombs and shower steamers. We even offer fun coffee classes—including latte art and a general coffee workshop—for those who love a creative caffeine experience! Soap-making classes are coming soon as we perfect the process.
Whether you're here for a solo creative escape or making memories with loved ones, Oz Studios is designed for fun and relaxation. Feel free to bring your own drinks (yes, wine is welcome!), enjoy puzzles and games, and soak in the good vibes on our sunny second floor.
